Iván Rolón is an Argentine pianist, conductor, composer, and educator based in Germany. He began his musical studies at the age of 8 with Blanca Rosa Córdoba and completed his academic training at the National University of the Arts (Buenos Aires), where he earned bachelor's degrees in Piano and Orchestral Conducting. At the same institution, he worked as a piano teacher and collaborative pianist in the Master’s program in Orchestral Conducting, and he is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Arts, focused on the promotion and dissemination of Argentine piano repertoire.
He refined his piano training with José Luis Juri and Alfredo Corral, and studied orchestral conducting with Luis Gorelik and Darío Domínguez Xodo. He also received masterclasses from Antonio de Raco, Alberto Portugheis, Pía Sebastiani, Roustem Saïtkoulov, among others, and has been awarded prizes in piano competitions held by the Chopiniana Foundation of Argentina and ALAPP (Latin American Association of Pianists and Pedagogues).
His artistic work includes performances as a soloist, chamber musician, accompanist, and ensemble conductor in renowned venues across Argentina, Europe, and Latin America. He has also recorded in prestigious studios, including Bayerische Rundfunk in Germany.
